Pearl

  in shifting glyphs

             of sand, continents are mapped

 & remapped by twisting

wind-knives

in shifting

glyphs of sand, sea’s

                          blue neck lies,  half-buried

              orphan glass in glyphs, shifting

  of sand, salt flowers bloom

clouds on a stem

                of sky in shifting

        sands of glyph, I

                                  am writing this rift

     again & again until

                its skeletal hollow shell is

      a  braille of auricle sifting

in sea-grain’s endless

 wave  lifting for

          a song line, a stray

thorn become pearl

in the drifting
